H. Robert Scherr Bob Scherr graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School in 1975. He was an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City from 1975–1977, prosecuting criminal cases. He went into private practice and has been a partner in the law firm of Scherr, Cole, & Murphy since 1977. He handles personal injury cases, divorce and custody cases, and general trial work.
Bob was a regular panelist on WJZ-TVs "Square Off" from 1981–1996. He provided legal commentary on WMAR-TV, Channel 2 in 1984–1985. He was the host of "Bob Scherr's Spotlight" on Comcast Cable TV in Baltimore County from 1983 to 2000. Bob was a radio talkshow host in afternoon drive time on WCBM in Baltimore until 2003. Since then, Bob does freelance guest hosting on WCBM in Baltimore as well as radio stations in the Washington area. He also periodically sits in as guest host for G. Gordon Liddy on his nationally syndicated radio show.
Ronald C. Cole Ron Cole graduated from American University in 1972, finishing four years of college in three years. He graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School in December of 1975, finishing three years of law school in 2½ years. He worked for the Public Defender's office in Anne Arundel County before opening his own practice in 1976 and has been a partner in the law firm of Scherr, Cole, & Murphy since its founding on October 30, 1976. He handles personal injury, workers' compensation, motor vehicle hearings, and traffic matters.
Ron was a regular panelist on a Sunday night radio show on WCBM in 1999. In addition to his law practice, he has been active in the community by coaching youth baseball, youth basketball, and being a volunteer in the United States Tennis Association. He has also volunteered with his wife for the Center for Poverty Solutions.
Kevin P. Murphy Kevin P. Murphy was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1971, Washington College in 1975, and the University of Baltimore Law School in 1978. From 1979 to 1983, Kevin served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City, where he prosecuted over 50 felony jury trials. In 1983, he joined Scherr, Cole, & Murphy as a partner, where he represents clients in Criminal Defense, Traffic Defense, and Personal Injury litigation. Kevin is a member of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.
Kevin is married with three children. Through the years his wife, Cindy, volunteered in their daughter's school and with the Girl Scouts of America. Kevin has also been active in the community, having served as President of the Pine Valley-Valleywood Community Association, the Lutherville-Timonium Youth Baseball Association, and Loyola Blakefield Aquatics, Inc. Kevin enjoyed coaching his children's various recreation league teams.
